Join us for a 4hr Online Professional Development Session: Sustainability & Nature’s Life Cycles in PBL.
Blended with hands-on activities, this PD provides teachers with our proven Project Based Learning (PBL) framework using Nature’s Life Cycles to teach for Sustainability.
Sessions alternate between linking scientific inquiries of the natural world to a multi-disciplinary exploration of nature, deepening key explorations through the discovery of natural materials, interpreted through Land Art techniques.
Part 1 - Introduces the importance of Sustainability and finding our balance in Nature. Notions of biotopes and Environmental Psychology are covered with practical tips on how to apply Restorative Environments in nature, even in urban environments, to facilitate learning at safe distances as well as using nature as a vehicle for coping with stress and anxiety.

Participants are given the theory in how to apply science, technology, engineering, art and math interact to meet early childhood development goals. English Language Learning strategies for bilingual and/or non native English settings are included, supporting teachers to introduce English in the most natural learning context.
